Food directly impacts our body and hormones. Udhaiyam is committed to deliver excellent quality organic food which is good for health and feast for taste buds too. Its logo in the tones of yellow, green and brown has a bullock cart carrying spices, dal, rice, honey and vegetables on a green earth with rising sun in the backdrop supported by a brown circular border. On the left side of this is the sheafs of cereal complete the circle and beyond. Below this motif, its name is written in orange and green. At the bottom its tagline ‘Arise Towards a Healthy Life’ is written.

SAMBALPUR UNIVERSITY The Sambalpur University Act was passed by the Odisha Legislature on December 10, 1966 and the University started functioning from January 1, 1967. The university was inaugurated on January 4, 1967. In 1973 the University was shifted to the present campus named Jyoti Vihar at Burla. The emblem of the university has the motifs of gear wheels, chimney and electric transmission tower representing industry; plough representing agriculture; deer representing the local wildlife; an open book denoting knowledge and wisdom; a torch symbolising light, truth and power; the Wheel of Konark symbolising Odisha’s culture and history and river symbolising Mahanadi. All these are ensconced by a circular border and along the border the name of the university is written. The motto of the university in Sanskrit ‘विद्यया विन्दतेऽमृतम्’ (Verse 4 II, Kena Upanishad) meaning ‘By Self-knowledge Immortality is Attained’ is written at the bottom of the emblem.
