NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY ANDHRA PRADESH National Institute of Technology, Andhra Pradesh (NIT AP) is the thirty-first institution among the chain of NITs started by the Government of India. NIT Andhra Pradesh was established in the state of Andhra Pradesh recently in the academic year 2015-2016. Its circular emblem has a ‘Poorna Kumbham’ or ‘Kalasha’ which means ‘Full or Complete Vessel’ when the pot is referred to as the Kalasha. The ZED certification seal or emblem has a fresh green to cyan tonal circular background and has 'MSME Zed Certification' written in white with a modern sans serif typeface. The counter of 'e' is depicted like a leaf to present environmental sustainability. In the left and left bottom of its circumference 'Zero Defect, Zero Effect' is written. A thin circular line  completes the circle. A stroke of short angular line at the right bottom of the circle makes the emblem depicting 'Q' for quality.

VVCE is an autonomous institute affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi. Its emblem is a gearwheel with sixteen teeth in a dark violet colour encompassing a yellow border and a light green circle. The border carries the name of the college. The light green circle has a magnetic circuit, a manufacturing plant, a satellite, a dish antenna and a transmission tower, a tree, a bridge, a computer and a flask. This covers all the major areas of learning in the college. Its acronym is placed below the emblem.

Its motto is 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakkam’ meaning ‘World is one Family’. In 2002, the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India conferred the 'Deemed to be University' status on Symbiosis.
