Indogulf CropSciences Ltd (formerly Jaishree Rasayan Udyog Ltd) are leading manufacturers and exporters of agrochemicals, crop nutrients, technical and formulations and other pesticides in India. The group owns four production bases that includes one technical synthesis plant and three formulation plants in India. SAMBALPUR UNIVERSITY The Sambalpur University Act was passed by the Odisha Legislature on December 10, 1966 and the University started functioning from January 1, 1967. The university was inaugurated on January 4, 1967. In 1973 the University was shifted to the present campus named Jyoti Vihar at Burla. The emblem of the university has the motifs of gear wheels, chimney and electric transmission tower representing industry; plough representing agriculture; deer representing the local wildlife; an open book denoting knowledge and wisdom; a torch symbolising light, truth and power; the Wheel of Konark symbolising Odisha’s culture and history and river symbolising Mahanadi.
