When multinational companies were selling their shampoos in big bottles, which only the rich could afford, Mr. ChinniKrishnan was exploring rural areas of South India, where shampoos were hardly used. When he demonstrated them how to use shampoos, he could see their interest in using them. Shampoo was not seen as just another product. Over the years, CavinKare Group has become one of the most successful home-grown FMCG companies. Innovation is the key for growth. Its logo in cyan and dark pink has its name written in thin sans serif italic font. This has a monogram of  ‘C’ depicted as a halo or glow and ‘K’ shown as an extruded plastic, symbolising cosmetic products and the sachets made of plastic. Below this its tagline ‘Making Lives Happier’ is written.

Pirates have proved themselves as real champions by giving three consecutive wins back to back. Owned by KVS Energy and Sports Limited, Patna Pirates believes that the spirit of the pirate is the spirit of not letting go, of using the environment to advantage, of striking when the enemy is least aware. It is named not after the criminal meaning of the word but after the Greek word 'peirin' which means ‘to attack’. COTTON UNIVERSITY Cotton University (CU) was formerly known as Cotton College, the institute was established in 1901 by Sir Henry Stedman Cotton, the Chief Commissioner of the erstwhile British province of Assam. It became a constituent college of Gauhati University in 1948. In 2011 the Cotton College State University was established vide an Act of the Government of Assam, with the college as a constituent. Cotton University came into being in 2017 through The Cotton University Act, 2017 that enabled the unification of Cotton College State University and Cotton College. PALLAVA DYNASTY - BULL The Pallava Dynasty existed from 275 CE to 897 CE, ruling a significant portion of the Deccan, also known as Thondaimandalam. The dynasty rose to prominence after the downfall of the Satavahana dynasty, with whom they had formerly served as feudatories. The Pallavas became a major South Indian power during the reign of Mahendravarman I(600–630 CE) and Narasimhavarman I (630–668 CE), dominating for about 600 years, until the end of the 9th century. Kancheepuram served as the capital of the Pallava kingdom.  They developed the Pallava script, from which, Grantha ultimately took form. This script eventually gave rise to several other Southeast Asian scripts such Khmer. The Chinese traveller Xuanzang visited Kanchipuram during Pallava rule and extolled their benign rule.
