NMIMS is a Deemed to be University offering multiple disciplines across multiple campuses. The logo of this university has a motif and a wordmark in grey, black and red. The motif is a shield divided into four parts. The logo reflects the passion for knowledge, growth and recognition at the national and global level. It is a logo that inspires the community to innovate, think out of box and reach out to the world with new products that connect with existing and potential customers, new market segments that so far remained outside the radar. The identity represents the new energy of NMIMS as a young university of the twenty first century that aspires to create new paradigms for higher education. The symbolic representation of inherent qualities and vision of NMIMS is represented in the new identity by four elements that are elephant - the largest land mammal admired for wisdom, knowledge, strength and loyalty; black bands represent books and knowledge; red quadrant denotes passion andlaurel wreath that shows achievement.
