Tripura State Electricity Corporation Limited (TSECL) started functioning from January 1, 2005 and has taken over the existing network and assets of the Power Department for operating and maintaining the power supply industry in Tripura. Its emblem has the map of Tripura overwritten by the symbol of electrical power and these are ensconced in an oval border on which the name of the institution and its year of establishment are written.
