NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY ANDHRA PRADESH National Institute of Technology, Andhra Pradesh (NIT AP) is the thirty-first institution among the chain of NITs started by the Government of India. NIT Andhra Pradesh was established in the state of Andhra Pradesh recently in the academic year 2015-2016. Its circular emblem has a ‘Poorna Kumbham’ or ‘Kalasha’ which means ‘Full or Complete Vessel’ when the pot is referred to as the Kalasha. The Purna-Kalasha is considered a symbol of abundance and 'Source of Life' in the Vedas. Purna-Kumbha is a Vedic motif, known from the time of Rigveda. It is held above the lotus, which is supported by a book and a pair of laurels of cereal on both the sides. The ZED certification seal or emblem has a fresh green to cyan tonal circular background and has 'MSME Zed Certification' written in white with a modern sans serif typeface. VVCE is an autonomous institute affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi. Its emblem is a gearwheel with sixteen teeth in a dark violet colour encompassing a yellow border and a light green circle. The border carries the name of the college. The light green circle has a magnetic circuit, a manufacturing plant, a satellite, a dish antenna and a transmission tower, a tree, a bridge, a computer and a flask. This covers all the major areas of learning in the college. Its acronym is placed below the emblem.
