ELECTION COMMISSION OF INDIA

The Election Commission of India is an autonomous constitutional authority responsible for administering election processes in India. The body administers elections to the Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha, State Legislative Assemblies in India and the offices of the President and Vice President in the country. The Election Commission operates under the authority of the Constitution as per Article 324 and subsequently enacted Representation of the People Act. The Election Commission of India logo dynamically symbolises the masses without barriers of caste, education and economics. The enclosed stable form in the logo represents the strength and foolproof democratic electoral process, without actually focusing on the mechanisms. A visual feel of the alphabet ‘E’ representing Election or Equality and alphabet ‘I’ for India can be observed. Stripes of three colours represent the flag, making a sense of belonging to India. The composition of various marks gives a perception of the electronic voting machine used for the election process. The logo was designed by Amitabh Pandey from Patna, Bihar.

RAJMATA VIJAYARAJE SCINDIA KRISHI VISHWA VIDYALAYA The Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Gwalior was established by Government of Madhya Pradesh on August 19, 2008 by bifurcating the JNKVV, Jabalpur. The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written. All these are ensconced in two circular borders, of which one carries its name and place in English and the outer one carries its name and place in Devanagari supported by a pair of wheat ears. The ears of wheat signifies prosperity, food, wealth and nourishment and the colour green signifies agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.

The name and place of the college surmounts the shield. A white banner inscribed with the motto of the college ‘To Foster the Divine in the Human’ is on the shield at the bottom. GLOBAL CENTRE FOR NUCLEAR ENERGY PARTNERSHIP Global Centre for Nuclear Energy Partnership (GCNEP) comes under the purview of Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) of Government of India. The vignetted blue to cyan colour circular logo has a partial structure of atom on top and its acronyms in Devanagari and English. The motto of the institution is written along the circumference in Devanagari ‘राष्ट्र की सेवा में परमाणु’ meaning ‘Atoms in the Service of the Nation, above and below respectively in grey. The taglines are supported on either side by Indian National Tricolour stripes.
