Indian Institute of Science (IISc) came into existence on May 27, 1909 in Bangalore following a vesting order and resolution passed by the government of India to establish the Institute. In August 2019 IISc got a new logo. The new seal is a refined version of IISc’s traditional emblem made compatible with modern digital media. The current logo is six pointed hexagram (greek) or sexagram (Latin) created using strokes of orange, bright green and blue is fresh, is used to conjure spiritual forces. The acronym of the name is written in black in upper and lowercase letters.

GURU GHASIDAS VISHWAVIDYALAYA Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya (GGV), is a Central University of India, located in Bilaspur Chhattisgarh State, established under Central Universities Act 2009, No. 25 of 2009. The insignia of the institution has a innumerable concentric petalled lotus in a red circle encircled by its name and motto in Sanskrit ‘ज्ञान पंथ कृपान कै धारा’ meaning ‘Cult of Knowledge is Through the Blessings’ and is ensconced in a blue gear wheel turning clockwise.
