The English and Foreign Languages University (TEFLU), Hyderabad, was founded in 1958 as the Central Institute of English (CIE). It was renamed the Central Institute of Foreign Languages (CIEFL) in 1972. In 1973, CIEFL was awarded the status of a deemed university. In 2006-2007, CIEFL was given Central University status by an Act of Parliament and accordingly renamed The English and Foreign Languages University. Its circular emblem with a globe of the world with longitudes and latitudes in black is superimposed by its acronym ‘EFL’ as bordered sans serif capital letters in brown. It has its motto in Sanskrit ‘सर्वं शब्देन भासते’ on top and ‘Words Illuminate the World’ at the bottom.

UTTARANCHAL UNIVERSITY Uttaranchal University has come a long way since its inception in 2013 providing world class multidisciplinary education. The university's mission is to inculcate the essence of the Sanskrit Shloka ‘पदं हि सर्वत्र गुणैर्निधीयते’ meaning ‘Good Qualities Put their Footprints Everywhere’. The logo of the university has a blue and green abstract pictorial of ‘U’ and on its right a wordmark of its name in capitals thin serif letters with smooth transition of strokes. The counter of the ‘U’ is filled blue and a stroke of blue and green flows across diagonally from left to right top. This is further cut out by another ‘U’ at the top right corner. The colour blue represents serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty and the colour green denotes life, production, fertility, agriculture, environment and nature. The logo is modern, trendy and attractive.

The blue circle is circumscribed by the name and place of the college in red. The weighing scales with the twin balance pans symbolise equity, fairness, objectivity and truth; the mortarboard hat or Oxford hat denotes educational achievement, equality, tradition and rights of passage; the figures holding hands directly atop the scale beam highlights unity, collaboration, teamwork and community integration.

Khalsa College of Education, Jammu (MCKCE Jammu) features a yellow shield with brown outlines housing the motifs of a pair of kirpans and a flaming torch. The shield is supported by a yellow banner inscribed with the motto of the college ‘Discipline & Wisdom’. The bank's tagline is 'Aapka Bank, Aapke Dwaar'. The logo of the bank has a red circle superimposed by three parallel yellow strokes in unequal lengths flowing freely, upwards. The red dot denotes the hub of the bank and the parent organisation - Department of Post and the yellow lines denote its reach to each and every household providing them banking services. Yellow represents warmth, speed and light. The strokes denote speed, efficiency and quality service. AT the right of the motif, its name is written in red serif font, the serifs of which face left. The typeface is trendy, clean and crisp. At the bottom of this its tagline is written in brown.
