Galgotias Educational Institutions (GEI) was Founded by Smt. Shakuntala Educational and Welfare Society. GEI is currently led by Mr. Suneel Galgotia, Chairman. The colours of its logo have been selected to convey the essence of the core values and effervescence of the institutions the univery comprises of. Red is the colour of enthusiasm and energy signifying GEI's quest for excellence and zeal to inspire the next generation of leaders. Red also symbolises encouragement and confidence to achieve one's goals. The colour yellow stimulates mental processes to innovate and encourages openness in communication. That's the focus at Galgotias; to provide a learning environment based on open communication between faculty and students. Blue is the colour of trust, dependability and commitment, the three qualities that act as the source of the credibility earned by Galgotias over the years.

VALLABHACHARYA TILAK The tilak of Vallbhacharyas is said to consist of two white lines down the forehead, forming a half-circle at its base and a white dot between them. Vallabhacharya (1479–1531 CE) was a devotional philosopher, who founded the Pushti sect in India, following the philosophy of ‘Shuddha Advaita’ (Pure Non-dualism). THE JAMMU & KASHMIR LIGHT INFANTRY India's first Light Infantry was born out of the peoples' response in 1947, to the invasion of Kashmir by Pakistan. In the difficult days of the invasion, the population formed local defence groups. These were later organised into militias responsible for specific sectors, e.g., Leh, Nubra, Jammu, Punch, etc. Over a period, these were grouped into the Militia battalions. Two of these were later converted into the Ladakh Scouts. The militia battalions operated with skill on the Line of Control (LoC) and in the 1971 Indo-Pak War earned three battle honours. In 1972, the militia battalions were brought on par with the army units, and in 1976 designated the Jammu & Kashmir Light Infantry (JAK LI). The 8th JAK LI earned great honour by capturing a Pakistani post at 21,000 feet at the Siachen Glacier in 1987. The Know Your Approvals (KYA) module includes guidance for thirty two Central Departments and thirty two States. The portal hosts applications for approvals from twenty eight Central Departments and twenty State Governments. These approvals can be applied through NSWS. Its logo has an emblem in inverted ‘s’ in black starting with an orange dot and ending with a green dot, symbolising the application and approvals of proposals through a single window. MAHATMA GANDHI CHITRAKOOT GRAMODAY VISHWAVIDYALAYA The emblem of Mahatma Gandhi Chitrakoot Gramoday Vishwavidyalaya (MGCGV) has a crown of wheat supported by the footwear of Mahatma Gandhi with a rising sun in the background. These are supported by a partial wheel of gear, in the counter of which its motto in Sanskrit ‘विश्वं ग्रामे प्रतिष्टितम्' meaning 'The World is Established from the Village' is inscribed.
