Vikaspedia is a knowledge portal targeting specific country needs in the domain of social development. This multilingual portal is developed as a single-window access to information, products and services, with the specific objective of reaching the ‘unreached’ communities of India, especially the poor. This portal is developed as part of the India Development Gateway initiative of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India and implemented by Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), Hyderabad. Its logo in yellow, red, cyan and dark green has a pair of leaves shooting up, supporting a diversified range of persons. Below this motif is the name written in a font with fine serifs. The logo signifies the sharing of knowledge for varied and diversified range of people.

UTTARANCHAL UNIVERSITY Uttaranchal University has come a long way since its inception in 2013 providing world class multidisciplinary education. The university's mission is to inculcate the essence of the Sanskrit Shloka ‘पदं हि सर्वत्र गुणैर्निधीयते’ meaning ‘Good Qualities Put their Footprints Everywhere’. The logo of the university has a blue and green abstract pictorial of ‘U’ and on its right a wordmark of its name in capitals thin serif letters with smooth transition of strokes. The counter of the ‘U’ is filled blue and a stroke of blue and green flows across diagonally from left to right top. This is further cut out by another ‘U’ at the top right corner. The colour blue represents serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty and the colour green denotes life, production, fertility, agriculture, environment and nature.
