MAHARASHTRA STATE ROAD DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION

MSRDC is a corporation established and fully owned by the Government of Maharashtra through a resolution on July 9, 1996. MSRDC mainly deals with the properties and assets comprising movables and immovables including land, road projects, flyover projects, toll collection rights and works under construction which are vested with the State Government and were under the control of the Public Works Department (PWD). Its logo is a oblong portrait panel with red background on which grey and white colour roads crisscross which appears like ‘M’. At the bottom its acronym is written in black.

The circular emblem of this university has a gear wheel with sixteen teeth holding the motif of a decorative column standing on a lotus pedestal and supported on either side by scroll designs. These are ensconced by a border on which the name of the university is inscribed in Devanagari and Bengali. GURUGRAM UNIVERSITY The emblem of Gurugram University (GU) has a yellow shield supported by a pair of laurels, crested by a flame and by a red banner below. The shield houses the motifs of rising sun, a pair of twigs,an open book, a globe, a human brain, a banyan tree, robot, WiFi symbol, picture of persons holding a trophy, its name and place and a bow and arrow. HEMWATI NANDAN BAHUGUNA GARHWAL UNIVERSITY Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University was established as a State University through the U.P. State Government notification dated November 23, 1973. It has a rare distinction of taking birth through a powerful popular movement during the early seventies in the last century. The university was converted to a Central University on January 15, 2009. The green circular emblem of the university has the motifs of the geography of the State - Himalayan mountain range, rivers, a tree and shining sun within a circle. All theses are ensconced in a circular border which carries its motto in Sanskrit ‘जीवा ज्योतिर्शिमहि’ meaning  ‘Life Eternal’ and supported on either side by a pair of red lotuses - denoting knowledge and purity and at the bottom half of the border its name in Devanagari is written.
