NITTE (DEEMED TO BE UNIVERSITY)
Nitte (Deemed-to-be University) has its roots in a group of Institutions established by the Nitte Education Trust, which was established in 1979 by Justice KS Hegde, Supreme Court Judge and Speaker of Lok Sabha. The University offers programmes in the disciplines of medicine, allied health sciences, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing, physiotherapy, speech and audiology, biological sciences, media & communication and Architecture. Its logo in blue colour has a monogram using ‘N’ on a shield and slicing it along the diagonal central line and its name is placed alongside.
