The Central Institute of Indian Languages (CIIL) is entrusted with the responsibility of conducting research in language analysis, pedagogy, technology and use. Its monogram is created out of its acronym ‘CIIL’ in light brown and red colours. The two ‘i’s have their dots in red colour and placed on top in the first ‘i’ and in the bottom in the second ‘i’ resembling a scroll of yester years.
