Anant National University (ANU) is the first DesignX University India which provides the best design courses to all creative aspirants. ANU is a private university located in Ahmedabad was established in 2016, by the Laxman Gyanpith Trust through the Gujarat Private Universities Act, 2016. Its emblem in French blue and grey has a pictorial and a word mark. The pictorial is a hexagon placed inside a blue square holding a triangle inspired ‘A’. At its right its name is written in a normal sans serif font. The motto of the university in Sanskrit ‘प्रज्वालिता ज्ञानमयः प्रदीपः’ (Sloka 1, Bhagavad Gita Dhyanam) meaning ‘Light the Lamp of Knowledge’ is placed at the bottom in grey colour. The hexagon is a symbol for harmony and balance and male and female energy and the triangle symbolises the creative spirit of the universe and the square denotes the stability, fixed nature of matter, strong foundations and order. The French blue colour symbolises intelligence, calmness, logic, thoughtfulness and lack of strong emotions and the colour grey denotes strength, longevity, unemotional, detached, balanced and impartial, power, influence, wisdom and intelligence.
