Rai University was established by Gujarat State Legislature under Gujarat Act No. 12 of 2012. The university has a skill oriented curriculum in the disciplines of engineering and technology, management, life sciences, applied sciences, pharmacy, law, agriculture, etc. The university’s embl;em in orange colour has a shield with a white cross holding the motifs of a women and men, with a sun in the middle. Above the shield the name of the university is written. The colour orange signifies energy, vitality, creativity, inspiration, joy and happiness; the shield signifies protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the cross signifies passion and sacrifice; the sun signifies life, energy, power, positivity and clarity and the motifs signify the beneficiaries and stakeholders.

DARSHAN UNIVERSITY The red and black emblem of Darshan University (DU) has an U-shaped shield housing the monogram of ‘DU’ and three stripes cut through its left top edge. Below the shield its motto in Sanskrit ‘योगः कर्मसु कौशलम्’ (Verse 50, Chapter 2, Bhagavad Gita) meaning ‘Yoga is Skill in Action’ is written. At the right the name of the university is written in sanserif bold and thin typeface in black. The shield symbolises protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery and the colour red denotes passion, power, strength, courage, determination, energy and celebration.

VARDHMAN MAHAVIR MEDICAL COLLEGE The insignia of Vardhman Mahavir Medical College (VMMC) has a burning torch on a Staff entwined by a pair of serpents, supported from the bottom by rising sun and by a pair of laurels on sides. Below these, on a banner, the motto of the college ‘In the Service of  Humanity’ is written. The motifs are surmounted by its name.
