Bharatiya Engineering Science and Technology Innovation University (BESTIU) is located in Gownivaripaill, Gorantla in Andhra Pradesh was established in 2019 under the Andhra Pradesh Private Universities (Establishment and Regulation) (Amendment) Act, 2019. The emblem of the university is a triangle in blue and orange colours holding a rising sun and supported by its acronym and name. Its motto ‘Empowered by Innovation’ is placed at the bottom. The triangle represents the the creative spirit of the universe; the rising sun denotes the light, life, energy, power, positivity and clarity; the colour blue denotes the serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty and the colour orange denotes energy, vitality, creativity, inspiration, joy and happiness.
