RAJASTHAN TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY

Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) is located in Kota in the state of Rajasthan. It was established in 2006 by the Government of Rajasthan in the campus of University College of Engineering, Kota. The emblem of the university uses orange and blue colours predominantly in a circular shape. The emblem has a map of the State of Rajasthan with its acronym on top of it supporting a bright flame of a lamp and surrounded by a diagram of an atom. These are ensconced by an orange and blue border which carries its name in Devanagari and English. At the bottom a yellow banner is placed which carries its motto in Sanskrit ‘ज्ञानम् सम्यगवेक्षणम्’ (Vasishta, Yoga Vasistha) meaning ‘Knowledge is Secured by Right Vision’ and its year of establishment.

XAVIER'S COLLEGE, DUMKA (SXCD) The emblem of St. Xavier's College, Dumka (SXCD) features a shield inscribed with the motifs of ‘IHS’ monogram within a sun, a traditional lamp and an open book supported by a yellow banner inscribed with the motto of the college ‘To Enlighten and To Empower’. This assemblage is ensconced by a purple circular border inscribed with the name and place of the college. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; sunburst with IHS is the Jesuit seal and it represents the name of Jesus. It is derived from the first three letters of Jesus' name in Greek (ΙΗΣ); the lamp symbolises enlightenment, removal of ignorance and the light of the world; and the book is a universal symbol for learning, education, and the spread of knowledge.

GIRIDIH COLLEGE, GIRIDIH The emblem of Giridih College, Giridih features a circle with four panels housing the motifs of a banyan tree, rising sun, a miner with a pickaxe and a range of mountains supported by a pair of stalks of grain. The name of the college and its motto are written in Devanagari on a circular border around the motifs.
