KONERU LAKSHMAIAH EDUCATION FOUNDATION

Koneru Lakshmaiah Education Foundation (KLEF) has been deemed to be university since 2009. Earlier it was known as Koneru Lakshmaiah College of Engineering (KLCE) and Koneru Lakshmaiah University, located in Vaddeswaram, Mangalagiri, Andhra Pradesh. The red and blue emblem of the foundation has a gear wheel with twelve teeth of which nine bear the symbols of nine planets. It houses the motifs of a factory, atomic symbol, a bridge and a transmission tower within a circle. There is a border around the circle bearing its name and its motto ‘Knowledge Leadership Universality’. The gear wheel symbolises interconnectedness; efficiency and precision; progress and advancement; synchronisation and timing and order and structure. The other motifs denote the fields of engineering the university offers to the students. The icons of nine planets may signify the relevance and wishes of the university to benefit from their movements.

GLOBAL CENTRE FOR NUCLEAR ENERGY PARTNERSHIP Global Centre for Nuclear Energy Partnership (GCNEP) comes under the purview of Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) of Government of India. The vignetted blue to cyan colour circular logo has a partial structure of atom on top and its acronyms in Devanagari and English. The motto of the institution is written along the circumference in Devanagari ‘राष्ट्र की सेवा में परमाणु’ meaning ‘Atoms in the Service of the Nation, above and below respectively in grey. DIRECTORATE OF FORENSIC SCIENCE SERVICES During 1983, the then Scientific Advisory Committee to the Cabinet (SAC-C) under the overall guidance of an Expert Committee chaired by Prof. M. M. Sharma, FRS, recommended that the laboratories in Delhi, Calcutta and Hyderabad must be developed as Science and Technology institutions, functioning in an autonomous fashion. Accordingly, the Government of India declared the forensic science Institutions, as Science and Technology institutions. In the first phase, the three Central Forensic Science Laboratories at Calcutta, Hyderabad, and Chandigarh were restructured into six scientific division viz.
