RAIGANJ UNIVERSITY

Raiganj University was formed through the Raiganj University Act (West Bengal Act XXVI of 2014) on February 3, 2015. It is located in Raiganj, West Bengal. Its square emblem has a traditional Bengali lamp with flame in the middle of a square whose border is divided into four blocks. The top block has its name written in red colour Devanagari and the bottom block has its motto in Sanskrit ‘तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय’ (1.3.28, Bṛhadāraṇyaka Upanishad) meaning ‘Lead Me from Darkness to Light’ is written. Both the side blocks each have three green swastikas. The traditional lamp symbolises signifies light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity and the green swastikas symbolise well being and good fortune.

UTTARANCHAL UNIVERSITY Uttaranchal University has come a long way since its inception in 2013 providing world class multidisciplinary education. The university's mission is to inculcate the essence of the Sanskrit Shloka ‘पदं हि सर्वत्र गुणैर्निधीयते’ meaning ‘Good Qualities Put their Footprints Everywhere’. The logo of the university has a blue and green abstract pictorial of ‘U’ and on its right a wordmark of its name in capitals thin serif letters with smooth transition of strokes. The colour blue represents serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty and the colour green denotes life, production, fertility, agriculture, environment and nature. The logo is modern, trendy and attractive.
