ATMIYA UNIVERSITY

Atmiya University was established on April 13, 2018, under the Gujarat Private University Act 11, 2018. The gold and blue circular emblem of the university has a hexagram with blue lines and gold fillings holding a glowing sun with a motif of a learner with an open book with a lotus in the background. This is ensconced in a white border with blue outline, which carries its name and its motto. Its motto in Sanskrit ‘सुह्रदं सर्वभूतानम्’ (Shloka 29, Chapter 5, Bhagavad Gita) is an expression of willingness to attain harmony with each creation of the Almighty. It means ‘Friend of All Beings’. The hexagram has been used in India daily for thousands of years. In Buddhism it is used to achieve a sense of peace and harmony in meditation and in Hinduism it is a symbol of the goddess Lakshmi, the goddess of fortune and material abundance. The colour blue symbolises serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and the colour gold represents wealth, prosperity, power, prestige and achievement. The lotus is a symbol of purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty; the sun represents light, life, energy, power, positivity and clarity; and the open book denotes education, knowledge and wisdom.

RAJMATA VIJAYARAJE SCINDIA KRISHI VISHWA VIDYALAYA The Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Gwalior was established by Government of Madhya Pradesh on August 19, 2008 by bifurcating the JNKVV, Jabalpur. The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written. All these are ensconced in two circular borders, of which one carries its name and place in English and the outer one carries its name and place in Devanagari supported by a pair of wheat ears. The ears of wheat signifies prosperity, food, wealth and nourishment and the colour green signifies agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.

DIRECTORATE OF FORENSIC SCIENCE SERVICES During 1983, the then Scientific Advisory Committee to the Cabinet (SAC-C) under the overall guidance of an Expert Committee chaired by Prof. M. M. Sharma, FRS, recommended that the laboratories in Delhi, Calcutta and Hyderabad must be developed as Science and Technology institutions, functioning in an autonomous fashion. Accordingly, the Government of India declared the forensic science Institutions, as Science and Technology institutions. In the first phase, the three Central Forensic Science Laboratories at Calcutta, Hyderabad, and Chandigarh were restructured into six scientific division viz. Biology, Ballistics, Chemistry, Explosive, Physics and Toxicology. The vignetted blue to cyan colour circular logo has a partial structure of atom on top and its acronyms in Devanagari and English. The motto of the institution is written along the circumference in Devanagari ‘राष्ट्र की सेवा में परमाणु’ meaning ‘Atoms in the Service of the Nation, above and below respectively in grey. The taglines are supported on either side by Indian National Tricolour stripes.
