ANDHRA UNIVERSITY
Andhra University (AU) is one of the oldest educational institutions in India. Andhra University was constituted in the year 1926 by the Madras Act of 1926. The emblem of the university has motifs of a pair of serpents, a lotus, rising sun, swastika, lotus petals, crescent moon and stars. The rising sun with its rays of light represents the university; the Lotus is the seat of both the Goddess of Prosperity - Lakshmi and the Goddess of Knowledge - Saraswathi and it is opening at the break of dawn. The sun's rays are surmounted by the Swastika, the ancient symbol of benediction among the Aryans. The outer circle of the crest, with its sixty four lotus petals, represents the university’s sixty four arts and sciences into which all knowledge was divided in the classical tradition of India. The ocean is the vast region of knowledge. The motto of the university, taken from the Upanishads ‘తేజస్వినావధీతమస్తు’, which means, ‘May the Divine Light Illuminate Our Studies’. Underneath this complex symbolism of knowledge is the crescent Moon, esteemed in all religions; the crescent is 'Kala' a digit of Moon, and 'Kala' also means Art of Applied Science or light and charm. Since the University bears the name of 'ఆంధ్ర విశ్వ కళా పరిషత్' (Andhra Viswa Kala Parishad) a corporation for the development of all arts in Andhra; the crescent above the name be-speaks the light and charm and beauty of Andhra. The two serpents represent the seekers and custodians of wisdom, who imbibe it from the lotus petals. Tradition also traces back the Andhras to the ancient Nagas, who were worshippers of the cobra and had it as their heraldic symbol. Dr. Cattamanchi Ramalinga Reddy, the founder Vice-Chancellor of this University chose this emblem designed by Sri Koutha Ramamohana Sastry.

INDIRA GANDHI RASHTRIYA MANAV SANGRAHALAYA A nucleus of a 'National Museum of Man' began functioning from New Delhi from March 21, 1977 as part of the Anthropological Survey of India. In 1978 it was separated from the Anthropological Survey of India and declared as an Independent Subordinate Office of the Department of Culture, Government of India. TRIPURA POLICE Tripura was a one District Territory with one District Magistrate – DM and  Collector and also one Superintendent of Police upto August 31,1970. The territory was divided into three districts with appointment of three DM and Collectors from September 1,1970. INSTITUTE OF PESTICIDE FORMULATION TECHNOLOGY Established in May, 1991 under the Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Institute of Pesticide Formulation Technology (IPFT) established a healthy rapport with the pesticides industries and has been able to successfully transfer technology for safer, efficient and environment friendly formulations. The Institute also functions as a Technical Coordinator Unit on user and environment friendly pesticide formulation technology and quality control of RENPAP, one of the largest networks of UNDP and UNIDO comprising of 15 countries of Asia. KARNATAKA POLICE Police in Karnataka were called by various names in different regions. After initiation of policing, they were initially called Thoti, Talwar, Umbalidhar, Kattubidi, Neeraganti etc. The police primarily with policing used to do other jobs entrusted to them. Mysore State was the predecessor to Karnataka State, which was created on November 1, 1965. Sri. L. Rickets was appointed as first Inspector General of Police. During the rule of Maharajas of Mysore, the policing existed in different variants. INDIAN INSTITUTE OF CORPORATE AFFAIRS The in-principle approval was granted by Planning Commission in year 2006 for development of a world class institution on corporate affairs. The proposal for setting up of Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA) was approved in 2007 February. IICA was conceived as a revenue generating model and in the initial stage at least 33 percent of the revenue expenditure should be income from their activities. Its corporate tagline is ‘Partners Governance Transfromation’. The monogram has a bright blue rectangular round cornered box with four yellow coloured floating strokes symbolising the range of issues, which the institution may address; the acronym partially in white in the box and partially out of it.

JAL JEEVAN MISSION Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) was launched by the Government of India on August15, 2019 in partnership with the States, to enable every household in villages to have Functional Household Tap Connection (FHTC) in the next 5 years. It is envisaged that with FHTC, each household will have supply of potable water (at least 55 lpcd as prescribed in BIS 10500:2012) on regular and long-term basis. To implement the mission, institutional arrangements at various levels have been made and State’s PHE and RWS Departments are to play a critical role. They have to help Gram Panchayat (GP) and / or its sub-committee to plan, implement, manage, operate and maintain its in-village water supply systems. RAJASTHAN POLICE The erstwhile princely States constituting Rajasthan varied considerably in size, population, revenue resources, administrative procedures and practices. With the merger of these States, their police forces were amalgamated into a single police force, which is known as Rajasthan Police. In the intial years after its inception, Rajasthan Police was headed by officers on deputation. The Rajasthan Police Service was formed in January 1951 and eligible officers from all over the State were appointed. The emblem of Rajasthan Police consists of the ‘Jaya Stambh’ or Victory Tower of Chittaorgarh between two swords in saltire and a shield charged with Jaya Stambh, crested with the Ashoka Lion Capital with its motto, being the emblem of India. Below is the name of the service: Rajasthan Police: ‘Rajasthan Police’ in Devanagari.
