MGM INSTITUTE OF HEALTH SCIENCES

MGM Institute of Health Sciences (MGMIHS) was conferred Deemed to be University status under Section 3 of UGC Act 1956 by the Ministry of Human Resource and Development, Government of India on August 30, 2006. MGMIHS consists of MGM Medical College, Navi Mumbai and MGM Medical College, Aurangabad which were established in the year 1989 and 1990 respectively. Its emblem is a circular motif of Mahatma Gandhi being led by a young lad holding his walking stick, this is symbolic of the necessity and the requirement of young people to train and assume leadership roles in their chosen fields in an exemplary manner.

RAJMATA VIJAYARAJE SCINDIA KRISHI VISHWA VIDYALAYA The Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Gwalior was established by Government of Madhya Pradesh on August 19, 2008 by bifurcating the JNKVV, Jabalpur. The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written. All these are ensconced in two circular borders, of which one carries its name and place in English and the outer one carries its name and place in Devanagari supported by a pair of wheat ears. The ears of wheat signifies prosperity, food, wealth and nourishment and the colour green signifies agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.

ONGC VIDESH LIMITED The emblem of ONGC Videsh Limited has the motif of ONGC in white placed on a blue square representing the sun and the earth. It depicts the image of a flowing petroleum oil well, which is vibrant, full of life and active all the time. DIRECTORATE OF FORENSIC SCIENCE SERVICES During 1983, the then Scientific Advisory Committee to the Cabinet (SAC-C) under the overall guidance of an Expert Committee chaired by Prof. M. M. Sharma, FRS, recommended that the laboratories in Delhi, Calcutta and Hyderabad must be developed as Science and Technology institutions, functioning in an autonomous fashion. Accordingly, the Government of India declared the forensic science Institutions, as Science and Technology institutions. In the first phase, the three Central Forensic Science Laboratories at Calcutta, Hyderabad, and Chandigarh were restructured into six scientific division viz. Biology, Ballistics, Chemistry, Explosive, Physics and Toxicology. The vignetted blue to cyan colour circular logo has a partial structure of atom on top and its acronyms in Devanagari and English. The motto of the institution is written along the circumference in Devanagari ‘राष्ट्र की सेवा में परमाणु’ meaning ‘Atoms in the Service of the Nation, above and below respectively in grey.
