RAJASTHAN UNIVERSITY OF VETERINARY AND ANIMAL SCIENCES

The Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (RAJUVAS), Bikaner is a constituted body established under Sub-section(3) of Section 1 of the Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Act, 2010. The university came into existence on May 18, 2010. The emblem of the university has a  Caduceus the staff of Hermes with a pair of wings and entwined by a pair of serpents representing medicine and medical profession crested by its name in Devanagari and ensconced by a blue border which carries its name and place in English. It is supported by a pair of floral laurels and below these its motto in Sanskrit ‘पशुधनम् नित्यं सर्वलोकोपकारकम्’ meaning ‘Wealth of Livestock is Useful to the World Daily’. The laurels denote success, victory and achievement.

RAJMATA VIJAYARAJE SCINDIA KRISHI VISHWA VIDYALAYA The Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Gwalior was established by Government of Madhya Pradesh on August 19, 2008 by bifurcating the JNKVV, Jabalpur. The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written. All these are ensconced in two circular borders, of which one carries its name and place in English and the outer one carries its name and place in Devanagari supported by a pair of wheat ears. The ears of wheat signifies prosperity, food, wealth and nourishment and the colour green signifies agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.

ONGC VIDESH LIMITED The emblem of ONGC Videsh Limited has the motif of ONGC in white placed on a blue square representing the sun and the earth. It depicts the image of a flowing petroleum oil well, which is vibrant, full of life and active all the time. DIRECTORATE OF FORENSIC SCIENCE SERVICES During 1983, the then Scientific Advisory Committee to the Cabinet (SAC-C) under the overall guidance of an Expert Committee chaired by Prof. M. M. Sharma, FRS, recommended that the laboratories in Delhi, Calcutta and Hyderabad must be developed as Science and Technology institutions, functioning in an autonomous fashion. Accordingly, the Government of India declared the forensic science Institutions, as Science and Technology institutions. In the first phase, the three Central Forensic Science Laboratories at Calcutta, Hyderabad, and Chandigarh were restructured into six scientific division viz. Biology, Ballistics, Chemistry, Explosive, Physics and Toxicology. Similarly, the offices of the Government Examiners of Questioned Documents at Shimla, Calcutta and Hyderabad were strengthened in terms of manpower under a directorate named Directorate of Forensic Science - DFS. The vignetted blue to cyan colour circular logo has a partial structure of atom on top and its acronyms in Devanagari and English. The motto of the institution is written along the circumference in Devanagari ‘राष्ट्र की सेवा में परमाणु’ meaning ‘Atoms in the Service of the Nation, above and below respectively in grey. The taglines are supported on either side by Indian National Tricolour stripes.
