WORLD UNIVERSITY OF DESIGN

World University of Design (WUD) is India's first and only university dedicated to education in the creative domain, established by the Haryana Private Universities Act, 2006. The logo of the university is made up of six intersecting lines in a heptagon on a black background. These intersections have created an abstract and virtual ‘W’ and ‘D’. Heptagon is known for mysticism and spirituality, which the university endeavours to unravel through its teaching and learning in design. It also symbolises the seven liberal arts and sciences of the mediaeval period. It symbolises seven planets and unity, harmony and stability as required in any design enterprise. The World University of Design (WUD) logo is a simple yet effective design that conveys the school's core values of creativity, innovation, and diversity. The logo is made up of two main elements: a stylized letter ‘W’ and a globe. The ‘W’ is a bold and confident letter that represents the school's commitment to excellence. The globe represents the school's global reach and its mission to prepare students for a world that is increasingly interconnected.

TEERTHANKER MAHAVEER UNIVERSITY Teerthanker Mahaveer University (TMU), was established by an Act (No. 30) of 2008 of the Government of Uttar Pradesh in 2008. The emblem of the university has a motif of a pair of green flying birds motif supporting the acronym of the name and place of the university are placed in a circular orange vignette background. These are ensconced by a half white and half red border which bears the name of the university in English and Devanagari respectively. On a banner with orange tones, its motto in Sanskrit ‘सम्यक् दर्शन, सम्यक् ज्ञान, सम्यक् चारित्र' meaning ‘Right philosophy, Right knowledge, Right character’ is inscribed in black. The green flying bird symbols mean good luck, hope, joy, new beginnings, renewal and healing.

GURU GHASIDAS VISHWAVIDYALAYA Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya (GGV), is a Central University of India, located in Bilaspur Chhattisgarh State, established under Central Universities Act 2009, No. 25 of 2009. Formerly called Guru Ghasidas University (GGU), established by an Act of the State Legislative Assembly, was formally inaugurated on June 16, 1983. The insignia of the institution has a innumerable concentric petalled lotus in a red circle encircled by its name and motto in Sanskrit ‘ज्ञान पंथ कृपान कै धारा’ meaning ‘Cult of Knowledge is Through the Blessings’ and is ensconced in a blue gear wheel turning clockwise. INDIAN ASSOCIATION FOR THE CULTIVATION OF SCIENCE Founded on July 29, 1876 by Dr Mahendra Lal Sircar, Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science (IACS) is the oldest institute in India devoted to the pursuit of fundamental research in the frontier areas of basic sciences. Professor C V Raman worked at IACS during 1907 to 1933, and it is here that he discovered the celebrated effect that bears his name and for which he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1930. Activities of the Association at 210 Bowbazar Street, Calcutta, in the very early years were supported by generous public contributions. In the early phase, the list of lecturers in Science in IACS included all the luminaries of the era: Father Lafont, Jagadish Chandra Bose, Asutosh Mukherjee, Chunilal Bose and Pramathanath Bose.
