WORLD UNIVERSITY OF DESIGN

World University of Design (WUD) is India's first and only university dedicated to education in the creative domain, established by the Haryana Private Universities Act, 2006. The logo of the university is made up of six intersecting lines in a heptagon on a black background. These intersections have created an abstract and virtual ‘W’ and ‘D’. Heptagon is known for mysticism and spirituality, which the university endeavours to unravel through its teaching and learning in design. It also symbolises the seven liberal arts and sciences of the mediaeval period. It symbolises seven planets and unity, harmony and stability as required in any design enterprise. The World University of Design (WUD) logo is a simple yet effective design that conveys the school's core values of creativity, innovation, and diversity. The logo is made up of two main elements: a stylized letter ‘W’ and a globe. The ‘W’ is a bold and confident letter that represents the school's commitment to excellence. The globe represents the school's global reach and its mission to prepare students for a world that is increasingly interconnected.

GOKHALE INSTITUTE OF POLITICS AND ECONOMICS The Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics (GIPS), Pune, was established in 1930 by the Servants of India Society (SIS). It is the oldest research and training institute in economics in the country. Gokhale was the one who founded the Servants of India Society in 1905. In recognition of its contribution to higher learning and research in Economics, the Institute was awarded the status of institution 'Deemed to be a University', in 1993. The circle is ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the name and place of the college. A pair of laurels supports the border. Below the seal, the motto of the college ‘Knowledge & Empowerment’ is written. KOLKATA METRO RAIL CORPORATION LTD Kolkata Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (KMRCL) is a Government of India enterprise implementing Kolkata (East-West Metro) Corridor Project. KMRCL's Project upon completion will connect Salt Lake Sector-V in the East and Howrah Maidan in the West. There shall be six elevated stations and six underground stations. The line will have interchange with existing terminals of Indian railways at Howrah and Sealdah.
