Karnataka Neeravari Nigam Limited (KNNL) has been registered as a company from December 9, 1998. The company is responsible for planning, investigation, estimation, execution, operation and maintenance of all irrigation projects. The company is also entrusted with the responsibility of Rehabilitation and Resettlement of the people affected by projects. KNNL’s logo is a green globe nurtured by flowing water. The globe is crested by two strokes of green symbolises the irrigation facilities created by this company.

TEERTHANKER MAHAVEER UNIVERSITY Teerthanker Mahaveer University (TMU), was established by an Act (No. 30) of 2008 of the Government of Uttar Pradesh in 2008. The emblem of the university has a motif of a pair of green flying birds motif supporting the acronym of the name and place of the university are placed in a circular orange vignette background. These are ensconced by a half white and half red border which bears the name of the university in English and Devanagari respectively. On a banner with orange tones, its motto in Sanskrit ‘सम्यक् दर्शन, सम्यक् ज्ञान, सम्यक् चारित्र' meaning ‘Right philosophy, Right knowledge, Right character’ is inscribed in black. AMUL Amul began when milk became a symbol of protest. It was founded in 1946 to stop exploitation by middlemen and inspired by the freedom movement and advised by Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Thus began the cooperative, the Kaira District Cooperative Milk Producers Union Ltd. Dr. Verghese Kurien took charge from 1950 and he was the first head of National Dairy Development Board (NDDB). AMUL is derived from Sanskrit ‘Amoolya’ meaning invaluable. This is developed from Old English Text typeface and has stood the test of time and is fondly remembered by consumers. The logo is in red colour.
