The name of the new entity remains as Baroda Gujarat Gramin Bank (BGGB) under sponsorship of Bank of Baroda. The emblem of the bank is a composite symbol comprising dual 'B' letter forms that hold the rays of the rising sun. This is the Baroda Sun and it represents the Sponsor Bank – Bank of Baroda. The twin green leaf twigs encircling the Baroda Sun depicts our commitment to protect 'Rays of Hope' of rural people by contributing to socio-economic development of rural India. The Baroda Sun is placed inside a grey gear wheel denoting the bank's stakeholders from the industry. Below this the name of the bank is written in Gujarati in black. At the bottom its tagline ‘Reaching to Unreached’ is written.
