Veer Chandra Singh Garhwali Uttarakhand University of Horticulture & Forestry (VCSG UUHF) is a prominent agricultural university located in Bharsar, Pauri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand, India. It was established on December 17, 2011 under the Uttarakhand State Act 2011. Its emblem has a pine tree supported by a pair of trees, a jumping deer and a pheasant in the backdrop of mountains. The pine tree is supported by a woman and a man holding an open book and holding a shining torch. These are ensconced in green and white borders which carry the name of the university and year of establishment in English and Devanagari respectively. The motifs represent the geography of the university and the State in green and yellow. An open book denotes knowledge and wisdom and the shining torch denotes light, path for growth and way forward. The colour yellow denotes happiness, energy, vitality, focus and creativity and green denotes life, production, fertility, agriculture and village.
