Paschim Banga Gramin Bank (PBGB) was established through the Government of India Notification No.1/4/2006 – RRB dated the February 26, 2007. The logo of the bank is inspired from the Bengali letter ‘প’ and written in extra bold strokes in blue colour, with its counter filled with a yellow circle and a radiating blue lamp. The traditional lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity. The colour blue symbolises serenity, calmness, peace, tranquillity, calmness, trust, stability and reliability and it is used to convey a sense of professionalism and dependability. The colour yellow denotes happiness, energy, vitality, focus and creativity and orange symbolises energy, vitality, creativity, inspiration, joy and happiness. Overall, the logo and its colours represent the brand adequately well.

GLOBAL CENTRE FOR NUCLEAR ENERGY PARTNERSHIP Global Centre for Nuclear Energy Partnership (GCNEP) comes under the purview of Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) of Government of India. The vignetted blue to cyan colour circular logo has a partial structure of atom on top and its acronyms in Devanagari and English. The motto of the institution is written along the circumference in Devanagari ‘राष्ट्र की सेवा में परमाणु’ meaning ‘Atoms in the Service of the Nation, above and below respectively in grey. The taglines are supported on either side by Indian National Tricolour stripes.

The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written. All these are ensconced in two circular borders, of which one carries its name and place in English and the outer one carries its name and place in Devanagari supported by a pair of wheat ears. DIRECTORATE OF FORENSIC SCIENCE SERVICES During 1983, the then Scientific Advisory Committee to the Cabinet (SAC-C) under the overall guidance of an Expert Committee chaired by Prof. M. M. Sharma, FRS, recommended that the laboratories in Delhi, Calcutta and Hyderabad must be developed as Science and Technology institutions, functioning in an autonomous fashion. Accordingly, the Government of India declared the forensic science Institutions, as Science and Technology institutions. In the first phase, the three Central Forensic Science Laboratories at Calcutta, Hyderabad, and Chandigarh were restructured into six scientific division viz. Biology, Ballistics, Chemistry, Explosive, Physics and Toxicology.
