INDIRA GANDHI RASHTRIYA MANAV SANGRAHALAYA A nucleus of a 'National Museum of Man' began functioning from New Delhi from March 21, 1977 as part of the Anthropological Survey of India. JAL JEEVAN MISSION Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) was launched by the Government of India on August15, 2019 in partnership with the States, to enable every household in villages to have Functional Household Tap Connection (FHTC) in the next 5 years. It is envisaged that with FHTC, each household will have supply of potable water (at least 55 lpcd as prescribed in BIS 10500:2012) on regular and long-term basis. To implement the mission, institutional arrangements at various levels have been made and State’s PHE and RWS Departments are to play a critical role.
