Tamilnadu Grama Bank (TGB), sponsored by Indian Bank was formed on April 1, 2019 by amalgamation of erstwhile Pallavan Grama Bank and Pandyan Grama Bank. The emblem of TGB has a gear wheel spearheading the industrial activities in grey colour, which has a tricolour - green, brown and blue inner ring holding a green map of the State of Tamilandu holding a bunch of paddy. Gear wheel denotes interconnectedness; efficiency and precision; progress and advancement; synchronisation and timing and order and structure, which the bank strives for. Green is the colour of life, agriculture and village and the crown of paddy denotes agriculture, harvest and food safety. The ring of blue, green and brown denotes the integrated development of agriculture, fisheries and industry in the State. A bunch of ripened paddy is considered an auspicious symbol of growth, prosperity and wealth. Overall, the logo is a symbol of the bank and all its stakeholders.
