Mizoram Rural Bank (MRB) is a Regional Rural Bank in Mizoram sponsored by State Bank of Indiaand owned by the Ministry of Finance , Government of India. It was established on September 27, 1983. The blue colour emblem of MRB has the letter ‘M’ depicted as a mountain and is placed within an oval. Mount Himalayas form the geography of the State and is an appropriate choice for use in the logo. The crisp line work of the emblem is gentle, assertive and stands good for the bank’s brand, by instilling confidence. The colour blue symbolises clarity, freshness, spirituality, serenity, calmness, peace, tranquillity, trust, stability and reliability and it is used to convey a sense of professionalism and dependability.
