Shri Krishna University is a private university in Chouka, Sagar Road, Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh. It was established in 2018. Its emblem has a bright flame in the form of the Lord Krishna’s tilak holding a flute supported by green and yellow body and legs and placed above the globe with its acronym ‘SKU’. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘विद्या सर्वस्य पूजनम्' meaning ‘Knowledge is the Supreme Worship’ is placed. All these are ensconced in a red circular border with gold and brown border lines which carries the name of the university. At the bottom on a flamboyant banner with winged endings the name of the place of university is written. Sri Krishna’s tilak identify ones body as the temple of the Lord but also one is blessed by the auspicious protection of the Lord. The flute is the expression of love by God and it represents the human heart. The globe symbolises education, knowledge, influence, timelessness, global unity and interconnectedness and the colour red signifies passion, power, strength, courage, determination, energy and celebration.
