SHRI KHUSHAL DAS UNIVERSITY

Shri Khushal Das University (SKDU) established in 1956 by the Shri Guru Govind Singh Charitable Trust. The emblem of the university is a dark blue squircle hosting a shield with motifs of a book supporting a woman and a man holding a torch. The motif also looks like a mortarboard hat. Below the shield the motto of the university in Sanskrit ‘ज्ञानम् परमम् प्येयम्’, which means ‘Knowledge is the Ultimate Drink’. The squircle has a white inner border line. A squircle symbolises the value of the rational mind - square, also referring to the natural insights of intuition - circle. The mortarboard hat or Oxford hat denotes educational achievement, equality, tradition and rights of passage; the book symbolises knowledge and wisdom; the torch symbolises enlightenment and hope and represents life, truth and the regenerative power of flame and the two human beings are the stakeholders of the university. The colour blue symbolises serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.

ATAL BIHARI VAJPAYEE HINDI VISHWAVIDYALAYA Atal Bihari Vajpayee Hindi Vishwavidyalaya (ABVHV) was established on December 19, 2011 by Madhya Pradesh Act No. 34, 2011. The orange and red emblem of the university has a monogram using its Devanagari acronym in white colour placed on a red circle and circumscribed by a snake. These are ensconced by a circular border in orange colour with red outline bearing the name of the university in Devanagari and a pair of horns of deer and its year of establishment.
