The Starex University, Gurgaon, Delhi NCR, has been conceptualised under the provisions of the Haryana Private Universities (Amendment) Act 2016 and is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Government of Haryana. The motto of SU Gurugram is ‘Nunc est Semper’ meaning ‘Now is Forever’. The emblem of the university has a shield divided diagonally into four parts in red, blue, yellow and green and crested by a pair of lions and a banner at the bottom holding its motto in Latin and English. In the middle of the shield on a diagonally placed cyan square its acronym ‘SU’ is written. The red portion holds a dolphin over water, blue portion a flying eagle, the yellow portion a globe and the green portion a torch. A pair of lions signifies courage, confidence and pride; the dolphin denotes rebirth, healing, intelligence and intuition; eagle denotes adventure, power, awareness and a sense of purity, nobility, good luck and success; globe signifies universal knowledge and wisdom, transcending boundaries and equality and torch symbolises light, path for growth, success, glory and way forward. The multiple colours denote the diversity, multiple facets and dynamic vibrancy of the university.

It was established as Central University of Bihar (CUB) and the name since changed by the Central Universities (Amendment) Act, 2014 to Central University of South Bihar (CUSB). The Executive Council of the Central University of Bihar passed a resolution and accepted the logo of the university on November 20, 2010. The new logo of the university came into existence in August, 2018. The logo of the University is an adaptation of a peepal tree symbolising the rich culture of Bihar. It is a visual identity of the university representing education, wisdom and enlightenment. 8 MOUNTAIN DIVISION The 8 Mountain Division was raised in 1963 to combat insurgency in Nagaland. The Counter Insurgency and Jungle Warfare (CIJW) School was established at Vairangte, Mizoram to impart pre-induction training to all the incoming units. Towards the end of the 1960s, this Division had well over thirty battalions under command, including those of the Assam Rifles and the other Central Police Organisations. The formation badge and sleeve patch of this Division has numeral 8 in gold with red dagger through the centre on black background.

VIT BHOPAL UNIVERSITY VIT Bhopal University is a private university in Kothri Kalan in Sehore district, Madhya Pradesh, India. It was established by the Vellore Institute of Technology. The blue colour emblem of VIT is the Sri Jalakandeswarar temple, located within Vellore Fort. Its gopuram and walls are prominent in this circular emblem with ‘VIT’ written above. SIDO KANHU MURMU UNIVERSITY The erstwhile Sido Kanhu University (SKU), now rechristened Sido Kanhu Murmu University (SKMU) was founded on January 10, 1992 by an act of Bihar Legislative Assembly. With the formation of the State of Jharkhand in 2000 the university comes under the new State Government of Jharkhand. The circular emblem of the university has a stem of tendu with three leaves surrounded by a swan, palash flower, mahua flower bud and its motto in Sanskrit ‘नीरक्षीरविवेकिनी  विद्या’ meaning ‘Education to Discriminate Water and Milk’. These are ensconced by a circle which bears its name in Devanagari and English and its year of establishment. At the bottom, the traditional drum used by the tribal population is placed.
