SHARNBASVA UNIVERSITY

Sharnbasva University (SU) in Kalaburagi, Karnataka is the first private university to be established in the Kalyana-Karnataka region in 2017. The red and green emblem of the university images of the Sharnabasava supported by banners with slogans in Kannada above and below. Around this motif within a white border with green ring the name of the university is written in Kannada and English and at the bottom ‘Teacher and the Disciple’ is written in Kannada and English. Below the circular emblem on a gold edged banner its motto ‘ಶಿಕ್ಷಣವು ಸಾಧಕರ ಕೈಯಾಗಿದೆ’ in Kannada is written meaning ‘Education is the Hands of the Practitioner’. There are scrolls atop and below the emblem.
