SIKSHA ‘O’ ANUSANDHAN |
Siksha 'O' Anusandhan (SOA), formerly known as Siksha 'O' Anusandhan University, is a private deemed university located at Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. Its pink and light green circular emblem has an inverted triangle with an eye supported by a pair of abstract leaves, which are ensconced by a pink circular border, which carries the name and status of the university. In Hindu philosophy inverted triangle refers to the solar plexus which is closely associated with personal power and self-esteem. In general this represents the feminine principle, the river delta, earthly or material things. Eyes are one of the most important symbolic sensory organs. An eye is commonly associated with intelligence, light, vigilance, moral conscience and truth. They can represent clairvoyance, omniscience or a gateway into the soul. Leaves represent nature and also symbolise growth and rebirth. The colour pink is symbolic of nurturing, playful, nostalgic, childhood, innocence, burning passion, love and romance.
