SUMANDEEP VIDYAPEETH

Sumandeep Vidyapeeth is an institution deemed to be university notified by the Government of India and established by KM Shah Charitable Trust. The circular emblem in blue has a monogram of ‘KM’ in grey and red, superimposed by a tooth, supported by a stethoscope and a pigeon. Below this, its status, year of establishment and place are written. A pair of green laurels hold all these motifs. These are ensconced by a circular border on which its name is written in a red sans serif bold font. It has two layers of decorative borders around. Below the laurels on a blue decorative plaque at the bottom its motto in Sanskrit ‘विद्या विनयेन शोभते’ meaning ‘Knowledge is Beautiful with Humility’ is written and above this a hand is holding a glowing torch. The torch symbolises light, path for growth, success, glory and way forward; laurels denote victory, accomplishment, honour, recognition, immortality, peace and harmony and pigeon symbolises fertility, prosperity, fortune, luck and transformation.

NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY ANDHRA PRADESH National Institute of Technology, Andhra Pradesh (NIT AP) is the thirty-first institution among the chain of NITs started by the Government of India. NIT Andhra Pradesh was established in the state of Andhra Pradesh recently in the academic year 2015-2016. Together, they communicate the essence and spirit of the UIDAI's mandate to people across the country. The design, which has been selected as the logo for Aadhaar, is a sun in red and yellow, with a fingerprint traced across its centre. The logo effectively communicates the vision for Aadhaar. It represents a new dawn of equal opportunity for each individual, a dawn which emerges from the unique identity the number guarantees for each individual. The logo was designed by Atul S. Pande of Pune and is selected through a competition in the year 2010.
