Shri Kallaji Vedic University (SKVV), Nimbaheda was inaugurated on March 27, 2018 to commemorate Shri Kallaji Rathore. The logo of Shri Kallaji Vedic Vishwavidyalaya is in the shape of an oval, in the centre of which the image of Shree Kallaji Maharaj is placed and Sheshnag ji has been placed on the head and the rays of the sun and the planets are behind. The yellow colour contained in the logo is euphoric and anthelmintic. The oval shape represents the earth and the mother earth bears her son Shri Kallaji. The figure of Sheshnag ji on the head of Shree Kallaji represents his heroic act during the fight for the motherland like a black serpent even after losing his head from the shoulder. The rays behind his figure represent his love for spreading the rays of knowledge hidden in the Vedic literature to the whole world. Around the figure of Shri Kallaji Maharaj is written the Rigveda mantra ‘भद्रैषां लक्ष्मीर्निहिताधि वाचि’ from Rig Veda - 10.71.02, which means 'There is a Special Wealth of Wisdom in the Speech of These Supreme Maharishis' (Bhadra Lakshmi-Nihit) who are benevolent.

In Tamil, ‘ma’ means Mango and kolam means rangoli pattern, suggesting a possible Tamil origin for the Sanskrit word.

PARAVANI The Paravani, Mayil, Mayura or the peacock is the vahana or vehicle of the Lord Karthikeya, Murugan, Subrahmanya, Skanda, Kumara, Saravana, Arumukha, Devasenapati, Shanmukha, Kathirvela, Guha or Swaminatha. The legend has it that the demon king Surapadman, with the boon he received from the gods had become invincible. He believed that he was immortal and began tormenting all across the universe. Lord Kartikeya confronted the Surapadman and he evaded the Lord’s attacks. The demon transformed himself into a large tree near Tiruchendur. Lord Kartikeya using his Vel, the divine spear struck the tree and split Surapadman into two halves. The demon sought forgiveness from the Lord and transformed the halves into Mayil or peacock and a rooster. KAVIKULAGURU KALIDAS SANSKRIT UNIVERSITY Kavikulaguru Kalidas Sanskrit University (KKSU) was established on September 18, 1997. It is named to pay rich tribute to legendary Sanskrit Mahakavi Kalidas. The logo of university has the ‘samai’ that is the lamp in the centre symbolising that Sanskrit is like the lamp that is mild yet powerfully showing the path of knowledge though its peculiar qualities like calmness, sacredness and guiding force.
