SHRI KRISHNA AYUSH UNIVERSITY

Shri Krishna Ayush University (SKAU) is a university established on September 25, 2017. The emblem of the university has a big palm of hand holding a joyous motif of a blue coloured human looking like a trunk of a tree with green leaves, surrounded by a pair of orange laurels. These are ensconced by a red circle. The name of the university is written in English and Devanagari in red and blue respectively around the red circle. This is circumscribed by a blue circular line. At the bottom, on a banner its motto in Sanskrit ‘चिकित्सितात् पुण्यतमं न किच्चित्’ meaning ‘There is Nothing More Holier Than Being Healed’ is placed. The palm of hand supporting a joyous human is the university and the human is the stakeholders and the tree is symbolic of the branches of AYUSH. The laurels are symbols of victory and achievement. They are often used in awards ceremonies and they are also a popular choice for graduation ceremonies and are a reminder of the hard work and dedication that it takes to achieve success.

It was rechristened as National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra on June 26, 2002. Its brown colour emblem is a gear wheel, in whose border the name of the institute and the place is written. In a circle within the gear a bow and an upward pointing arrow is placed. The bow radiates energy. There is a downward pointing arrow in the name of the place emphazising the importance of the place and the grounding. The name and logo for the unique numbers to be issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) have been developed keeping in mind the transformational potential of the programme. Together, they communicate the essence and spirit of the UIDAI's mandate to people across the country. The design, which has been selected as the logo for Aadhaar, is a sun in red and yellow, with a fingerprint traced across its centre. The logo effectively communicates the vision for Aadhaar. It represents a new dawn of equal opportunity for each individual, a dawn which emerges from the unique identity the number guarantees for each individual. The logo was designed by Atul S. Pande of Pune and is selected through a competition in the year 2010.

Its emblem is a gearwheel with sixteen teeth in a dark violet colour encompassing a yellow border and a light green circle. The border carries the name of the college. The light green circle has a magnetic circuit, a manufacturing plant, a satellite, a dish antenna and a transmission tower, a tree, a bridge, a computer and a flask. This covers all the major areas of learning in the college. Its acronym is placed below the emblem.

SYMBIOSIS SOCIETY Symbiosis Society is a Trust registered under the Bombay Public Trusts Act 1950 and a Society registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860, having its registered office at Senapati Bapat Road, Pune in India. Its motto is 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakkam’ meaning ‘World is one Family’. In 2002, the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India conferred the 'Deemed to be University' status on Symbiosis.
