SURENDRANAGAR UNIVERSITY
Surendranagar University is located at Shree Pandit Nathulalji Vyas Campus on Wadhawan - Kothariya Road at Wadhavan Surendranagar. The circular emblem of the university has a border which carries the name of the university on top and a pair of laurels at the bottom. Inside the circle a shield is placed. It is divided into four parts of which one carries a plough, the second one three flying birds, the third a sun and the fourth a microscope. The microscope denotes scientific approach; the plough denotes agriculture and being rooted; the flying birds denote freedom of thought, imagination and greater vision and the sun is the symbol of hope, light, direction, being reliable and resolute. The laurels denote victory, accomplishment, honour, recognition, immortality, peace and harmony.

RAJMATA VIJAYARAJE SCINDIA KRISHI VISHWA VIDYALAYA The Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Gwalior was established by Government of Madhya Pradesh on August 19, 2008 by bifurcating the JNKVV, Jabalpur. The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written. All these are ensconced in two circular borders, of which one carries its name and place in English and the outer one carries its name and place in Devanagari supported by a pair of wheat ears. The ears of wheat signifies prosperity, food, wealth and nourishment and the colour green signifies agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.
