D.Y. PATIL UNIVERSITY

The D.Y. Patil University (Institution Deemed to be University) was established under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956 vide MHRD notification No: F.9-26/2004-U-3 dated September 1, 2005. The emblem of the university is a nib of a pen in reddish brown colour with an open book at the end of the split of the nib, which is surrounded by a rising sun. The upper portion of the nib is shaped like a shield and has black outline. The nib symbolises freedom, intelligence, creativity, professionalism, determination and diligence; shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the book denotes knowledge and wisdom and the rising sun denotes light, universal prosperity and path for growth. The reddish brown colour symbolises being solid, resilience, dependability, security and safety.

DigiLocker provides an account in cloud to every Indian citizen to access authentic documents and certificates such as driving licence, vehicle registration, academic mark list in digital format from the original issuers of these certificates. It also provides one GB storage space to each account to upload scanned copies of legacy documents. Its emblem in purple colour has a cloud with a keyhole with a background of a document. MAULANA AZAD NATIONAL URDU UNIVERSITY Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) is a Central University established by an Act of Parliament in 1998. The logo of the university has two strokes of orange and green forming the shape of ‘U’ in tricolour and has a ‘Ashoka Chakra’ at its top. This is supported by an open book on which images of an atom and a burning candle are depicted. Its name is written in Urdu atop the emblem on a banner; written in Devanagari on a banner above the logo and in English at its bottom. SANT GAHIRA GURU VISHWAVIDYALAYA The circular emblem of Sant Gahira Guru Vishwavidyalaya (SGCG), formerly known a s Sarguja University has a circular border in orange and green and has its name, place and motto inscribed in Devanagari and supported by a pair of tribal ornaments. The motto is written in Sanskrit which is an extract from the Kathopanishad ‘विद्ययाऽमृतमश्नुते’, (Shloka 11, Ishopanishad) meaning ‘Immortality is Gained from Learning’.
