BHAGAT PHOOL SINGH MAHILA VISHWAVIDYALAYA In 1936 Bhagat Phool Singh Ji started a gurukul for girls in Bhainswal Kalan with three girls. The gurukul grew in size, stature and reputation with time and in November 2006, the Haryana Legislative Assembly  passed a Legislative Notification No. 31/2006 making the gurukul a full fledged State University. Bhagat Phool Singh was a Patwari who turned into a social reformer under the influence of Arya Samaj. His daughter, Subhashini Devi, who inherited the responsibility helped the gurukul grow into a number of professional colleges for women. In November 2006, the Mahasabha Gurukul Vidyapeeth in Khanpur Kalan was turned into Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila Vishwavidyalaya (BPSMV). MADHUSUDAN LAW UNIVERSITY The Madhusudan Law University (MLU) was established on the birth anniversary of Madhusudan Das on April 28, 2021. The university started its official functioning on the same day, under the guidance and vision of the founding vice chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Kamal Jeet Singh. NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY ODISHA The National Law University Odisha (NLUO) was established in the year 2009 under The National Law University Orissa Act, 2008 (Act 4 of 2008) passed by the Odisha State Legislature and commenced its academic activities in the academic year 2009-10. ODISHA STATE OPEN UNIVERSITY Odisha State Open University has been established through the Odisha State Open University Act, 2014 (Odisha Act 5 of 2015) of the State Government dated June 10, 2015 to provide an innovative system of university level education, flexible and open. The emblem of the university is a rectangle divided diagonally in light pink and black. It houses an open book bearing the motifs of a torch and flying bird, supported by its acronym. Below the rectangle the name and place of the university is written in Odia and English. The division of the rectangle symbolises the transformation of an individual from ignorance to enlightenment with knowledge and education. ODISHA UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY AND RESEARCH The Odisha University of Technology and Research, (Formerly CET), Bhubaneswar was established by the Government of Odisha in 1981. It was a Constituent College of the Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology, Bhubaneswar since inception. The circular emblem in the shades of blue and brown has the motif of the wheel of the Sun Temple of Konark super imposed by a quick response (QR) code in the centre and intersected by a diagram of an atom. ODISHA UNIVERSITY OF AGRICULTURE AND TECHNOLOGY In 1961, the Legislature of the State of Orissa enacted the Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology Act, 20 of 1961 with the object of establishing and incorporating a University of Agriculture and Technology. The university was inaugurated by Prof. John K. Galbraith on August 24, 1962 and began its functioning from February 1, 1963, when the Utkal Krushi Mahavidyalaya and the Orissa College of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry with their staff were transferred to the university. PERIYAR UNIVERSITY Periyar University was established by the Government of Tamil Nadu on September 17, 1997 through the provisions of the Periyar University Act, 1997 to serve the Salem, Namakkal, Dharmapuri and Krishnagiri districts. The emblem of the university in the tones of red and blue is adapted from its promoter the Times of India group. CHANDRA SHEKHAR AZAD UNIVERSITY OF AGRICULTURE AND TECHNOLOGY The Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology (CSAUAT), Kanpur was originally established in 1893 as a small school to impart training to revenue officers. It became a Government Agriculture College in 1906; then it became Uttar Pradesh  Institute of Agricultural Sciences in 1969 and finally to the C.S. Azad University of Agriculture and Technology in 1975. The emblem of the university has circular gear housing the motifs of a bullock, a plough and a tractor. The gold and blue emblem of the university is inspired by ancient coins of Indian kingdoms that served with will, wisdom and action that reflects the heritage and civilizational depth which have enduring relevance and meaning. The peepal (ashwatha) leaf symbolises abundant wisdom (jñāna), the sun symbolises energy with an indomitable will (ichhā) and the Dharma Chakra symbolises movement with the right, meaningful action (kriyā). The colours are inspired by nature and light, which reflects character, sincerity and commitment. The typeface complementing the logo is a custom hand drawn serif typeface.

CHANDIGARH UNIVERSITY Chandigarh University (CU) which is managed by Star Group, is established by an Act of Punjab State Legislature and is recognised by Section 2(f) with the right to confer degrees as per Section 22(1) of the UGC Act, 1956. The emblem of the university has a red and black rectangular panel with the motifs of a globe, a circular human chain, its acronym and its name. Its name is written in sans serif extra bold typeface in red and black and its tagline ‘Discover. Learn. Empower.’ is written below. The globe symbolises adopting International standards of learning and teaching model and global acceptance; the human chain symbolises cultural diversity, brotherhood and the spirit of national Integration; the colours black and white represent transparency adopted in policy making and its implementation and the colour red denotes energy, passion, action, pioneering spirit, leadership qualities, ambition and determination.
