UNIVERSITY OF LADAKH
The University of Ladakh (UoL) was established in 2019 and is the only trans-Himalayan Institute of higher learning and research with headquarters and campuses both in Leh and Kargil. The insignia of the university has a shield placed within a nine petalled lotus supported by a pair of laurels. The shield holds the motif of rising sun, supported by its acronym and ensconced by four hands holding one another and its motto ‘March Forth’. The top two corners of the shield have the motifs of Asiatic ibex. At the bottom, on a banner the name of the university and its year of establishment are written. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the ibex denotes the Union Territory of Ladakh; the rising sun denotes light, universal prosperity and path for growth; the four hand holding the other denotes cooperation, unity, togetherness and strength; the lotus symbolise purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty; the laurels denote ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication; the colour brown symbolises earthiness, stability, humility, reliability, endurance and tradition.

SOUTH CENTRAL ZONE CULTURAL CENTRE The  South Central Zone Cultural Centre (SCZCC), Nagpur one of the seven zonal cultural centres in India was  established in 1986 with its headquarters at Nagpur. It comprises the linguistically different States of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. Each of these States has rich traditions of folk, tribal, fine arts and crafts. Its logo has seven round cornered squares with black border of which one in the centre is filled with blue and the others with white. On top of this ‘Madhydakshini’ is written on Dwvanagari meaning ‘Southern Central’ is written in black.

PROJECT EXPORT PROMOTION COUNCIL OF INDIA Project Export Promotion Council of India (PEPC) is an export promotion council set up by the Government of India in 1984 as Overseas Construction Council of India. PEPC in line with the foreign trade policy of the Government of India not only undertakes the necessary export promotion initiatives but also provides necessary technical information, guidance and support to Indian civil and engineering construction including process engineering contractors and consultants - in public or private sector - to set up overseas projects. Its logo has a world map in elliptical globe in golden yellow with white lines sweeping across it. In the backdrop are a set of grey lines symbolising movement and coverage. On top of it is its acronym ‘Project EPC’ and at the bottom is its motto ‘Synergy in Project Excellence’ are written.

CHERA DYNASTY

CHERA DYNASTY The  Chera Dynasty was one of the Tamil dynasties in and before the Sangam period history of the State of Kerala and the Kongu Nadu region of Western Tamilnadu in southern India. Together with the Tamil dynasties of Cholas of Uraiyur, (Tiruchirappalli) and the Pandyas of Madurai, the early Cheras were known as one of the three major powers (muvendar) of ancient Tamizhagam in the early centuries of the Common Era. Bow and arrow is the symbol of Chera dynasty and this is found in many of the archaeological findings and literary records. Nedum Cheralathan was a Chera ruler of the early historic south India, contemporary to the Chola ruler Perunarkilli. He is the second known Chera ruler from the early Tamil literature, and is praised in the Second Ten of Pathitruppaththu. He patronized Jainism and Buddhism.

INDIAN DIAMOND INSTITUTE With the objective of enhancing the quality, design and global competitiveness of the Indian jewellery, the Indian Diamond Institute (IDI) was established as a Society in 1978 with its office located at Surat, the world’s biggest diamond manufacturing centre. It has two campuses, one in Katargam and the other in Vesu. The Institute is sponsored by the Department of Commerce and patronized by the Gems and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC). The Institute conducts various diploma and other courses related to diamond trade and industry. The Institute also has certification services for diamonds, coloured stones and gold jewellery. Its logo in reddish brown colour has the depiction of diamond cutting strokes and its name and tag line ‘Passion: Technology: Innovation’ black in serif font is inserted in it.

BASIC CHEMICALS, PHARMACEUTICALS AND COSMETICS EXPORT PROMOTION COUNCIL Basic Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals and Cosmetics Export Promotion Council, popularly known as CHEMEXCIL was established in the year 1963 with it's headquarters at Mumbai, with the objective of making concerted efforts to promote exports of basic organic and inorganic chemicals, dyes, pesticides, soaps, detergents, cosmetics, toiletries and other products like essential oils, castor oil etc. CHEMEXCIL has four separate panels namely, dyes and dye chemicals; basic inorganic and organic chemicals, including agrochemicals; cosmetics, soaps, toiletries and essential oils and chemicals, lubricants and castor oil. Its logo has a cargo ship placed above a globe circled by a gear, which is place within a hexagonal chemical structure. At the bottom of the ship, on a banner ‘CHEMEXCIL’ is written.

NATIONAL FOUNDATION FOR CORPORATE GOVERNANCE With the goal of promoting better corporate governance practices in India, the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India, on October 1, 2003 set up National Foundation for Corporate Governance (NFCG) in partnership with Confederation of Indian Industry, Institute of Company Secretaries of India and Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. In the year 2010, stakeholders in NFCG has been expanded with the inclusion of ICWAI and the National Stock Exchange. Its grey coloured logo has its acronym written in sanserif italics bold and its name is written in black colour bold italics Sans serif.

NATIONAL GALLERY OF MODERN ART The idea of a national art gallery was first mooted in 1949. Dr S. Radhakrishanan formally inaugurated the National Gallery of Modern Art (NGMA) on March 29, 1954. It collection of more than 1700 works by 2000 plus artists. Its rectangular monogram in blue background with letters of its acronym in English and Devanagari in fresh green colour gives it a different look.

INVESTOR EDUCATION AND PROTECTION FUND Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF) is for promotion of investors’ awareness and protection of the interests of investors. IEPF is a platform to promote awareness and it does not offer any investment advice or evaluation. IEPF was established under Section 205C (Establishment of Investor Education and Protection Fund) Act. Investor Education and Protection Fund (awareness and protection of investors) Rules, 2001 stipulate the activities related to investors’ education, awareness and protection for which the financial sanction can be provided under IEPF. Its logo in blue colour has three persons in silhoutte along with two piles of money are supported by a pen and guarding hands. It is ensconced by its name and its acronym is written in at the bottom.

PALLAVA DYNASTY - BULL The Pallava Dynasty existed from 275 CE to 897 CE, ruling a significant portion of the Deccan, also known as Thondaimandalam. The dynasty rose to prominence after the downfall of the Satavahana dynasty, with whom they had formerly served as feudatories. The Pallavas became a major South Indian power during the reign of Mahendravarman I(600–630 CE) and Narasimhavarman I (630–668 CE), dominating for about 600 years, until the end of the 9th century. Kancheepuram served as the capital of the Pallava kingdom.  They developed the Pallava script, from which, Grantha ultimately took form. This script eventually gave rise to several other Southeast Asian scripts such Khmer. The Chinese traveller Xuanzang visited Kanchipuram during Pallava rule and extolled their benign rule. COMPETITION APPELLATE TRIBUNAL The Competition Appellate Tribunal (CAT) is a statutory organization established under the provisions of the Competition Act, 2002 to hear and dispose of appeals against any direction issued or decision made or order passed by the Competition Commission of India under sub-sections (2) and (6) of section 26, section 27, section 28, section 31, section 32, section 33, section 38, section 39, section 43, section 43A, section 44, section 45 or section 46 of the Competition Act, 2002. The Central Government has set up the Appellate Tribunal on May 15, 2009 having its headquarter at New Delhi. The logo for CAT has a hand which is green in its outer and red in its inner surface and is placed in a black circle with white border. In a black border around this in white is its name in English and Devanagari.
