NORTH EAST ADVENTIST UNIVERSITY
The North East Adventist University (NEAU) was established by METAS on a 90 acre land of Jowai of Meghalaya, in 2019 under the Meghalaya Act No.4, No. LL(B).23/2015/280. Pr. O.W. Lange, an American Missionary, established the Assam Training School in 1941 at the present location. In 1972, the name was changed to Adventist Training School (ATS). It was upgraded to a higher secondary school in 1997. The insignia of the university is a grey and blue shield with an open book, a tiara, a torch and a motif of three people. The shield is supported by a pair of laurels and surmounted by its motto ‘Education for Eternity’. The shield symbolises protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the open book symbolises education, knowledge and wisdom, the tiara symbolises departure from maidenhood into married life and royalty.; the torch with flame is an emblem of enlightenment, hope, life, truth and the regenerative power; the humans symbolise the stakeholders and beneficiaries; the laurels denote ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication; the colour grey signifies strength, longevity, unemotional, detached, balanced and impartial, power, influence, wisdom and intelligence and the colour blue signifies serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.

NORTH EASTERN INDIRA GANDHI REGIONAL INSTITUTE OF HEALTH AND MEDICAL SCIENCES The insignia of North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS) has a Staff of Caduceus entwined by a serpent crested by a flame of fire and surmounted by its tagline in Latin ‘Ad Scientia et Vita’ meaning ‘Towards Knowledge and Life’. The Staff is supported by green mountains with orange rising sun and its motto in Sanskrit ‘ज्ञानम् जीवनम् च प्रति’ meaning ‘Towards Knowledge and Life’. These are ensconced by a blue circle around which its name is written. This is supported by a pair of laurels. Below these motifs its acronym is written. The laurels refer to success, hard work and perseverance; the green mountains and the rising sun refer to the Northeastern region and the Staff refers to medicine and the medical profession.

KASHI TAMIL SANGAMAM The Ministry of Education, Government of India will organise 'Kashi Tamil Sangamam'- a month long programme from November 16, 2022 - to rediscover the centuries-old bond of knowledge and ancient civilizational linkage between Varanasi and Tamilnadu. The programme will be organised under the framework of 'Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat'. IIT-Madras and Banaras Hindu University are the hosting partners of this mega event. Its logo is a greyish blue pen supported on both sides by temple towers of Banaras and Tamilnadu. It is ensconced by a dark blue circular line and supported by a blue line depicting water. At the bottom ‘Kashi-Tamil Sangamam’ is written in Tamil, Hindi and English.

GRAPHIC ERA HILL UNIVERSITY The emblem of Graphic Era Hill University (GEHU) university has a gear wheel, which is half and half black carrying its motto ‘Transforming Dreams Into Reality’ on top and its name at the bottom. Within this the monogram of its acronym ‘GE’ is designed as a torch in orange and red. The monogram is placed above the motif of Mount Himalayas. PURNEA UNIVERSITY Purnea University, Purnia was carved out of Bhupendra Narayan Mandal University, Madhepura on March 18, 2018 by an act of Bihar Assembly. The circular emblem of the university has a lotus leaf supporting an open book, a lotus and a rising sun crested by three motifs of humans. These have been circumscribed by its name in Devanagari and English divided by a pair of fish. Below the lotus leaf its motto in Sanskrit ‘ऋते ज्ञानान्न मुक्तिः’ meaning ‘Without Knowledge No Liberation’ and its year of formation is written. All these are ensconced by two thick outlines of grey and gold. THE BIHAR REGIMEN The Hindu, Buddhist and Muslim influences intermingled to produce a soldiery which was traditionally arms bearing, disciplined and deeply religious. The Bihar Regiment claims its origins from the sepoy battalions raised in 1758 by Clive at Patna. The Bihari or poorbia or purviah soldier thereafter continued to provide the backbone of The Bengal Infantry of the British. Its Regimental Centre is Danapur, Bihar and its Regimental insignia is the Ashoka lion. Its Regimental motto is ‘Karam Hi Dharam’ (Work is Worship) and its war cry is ‘Jai Bajrang Bali’ (Victory to Bajrang Bali)and ‘Birsa Munda Ki Jai’ (Victory to Birsa Munda).
