BISWA BANGLA BISWABIDYALAY

Biswa Bangla Biswabidyalay (BBB) was established in 2020 as a liberal arts university in Bolpur, West Bengal. This university is also known as Bolpur University or Biswa Bangla University. The emblem of the university has an open book with its acronym in Bengali written on it and crested by a blue circle depicting a human being and supported by the nib of a pen. All these are ensconced by a green circular border which carries its motto in Bengali ‘তামসো মা জ্যোতির্গময়ঃ’ (Yajnavalkya,1.3.28, Pavamana Mantra, Brihadaranyaka Upanishad) meaning ‘From Darkness Lead me to Light’ and its year of establishment. These are circumscribed by its name in Bengali and English in blue colour.
