The Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India University (ICFAIUM) has been established under Section 4(2) of the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India University, Meghalaya Act 2006 passed by the Legislative Assembly of Meghalaya. The logo of the university has the acronym of its name written in capital slab serif font in blue colour, supported by a red banner on which ‘University’ is written. Below this ‘Meghalaya’ is written in black. The colour red represents passion, power, strength, courage, determination, energy and celebration and the colour blue denotes trust, character and integrity.

16 CORPS The 16 Corps is a corps of the Indian Army raised on June 1, 1972. It has its headquarters at Nagrota Cantonment, Nagrota, Jammu district, Jammu and Kashmir. In 2005 IX Corps (India) was raised in part of the 16 Corps' area, taking over two of its divisions. It is headquartered at at Yol. INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (BANARAS HINDU UNIVERSITY) VARANASI The Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) (IIT BHU) Varanasi owes its existence to Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya, the founder of the first residential University of modern India, Banaras Hindu University (BHU). Engineering education in BHU started in 1919 with the establishment of Banaras Engineering College (BENCO). The next stage of development saw the establishment of College of Technology (TECHNO) and College of Mining & Metallurgy (MINMET).
