MANIPUR UNIVERSITY OF CULTURE

The Manipur University of Culture (MUC) was established in 2015 by the Government of Manipur through the Manipur University of Culture Bill, 2015. The university started its academic sessions from September 20, 2016. Currently it offers graduate courses in  dance, music, sankirtana, Umang Lai Haraoba, Thang-Ta, theatre, tribal studies and visual arts and it has plans to offer postgraduate and doctoral programmes in the coming years. The university’s emblem has eight intersecting leaf-like ovals forming the base for a circular seal carrying its name and motif.

The circular dark blue emblem of the bank has a motif of one Rupee coin above a pair of crossed golden bars forming four quadrants in a circle. These quadrants have motifs of a milch cow; tobacco and sugarcane plant; a tractor and a gear on micro scale industry. GURU GHASIDAS VISHWAVIDYALAYA Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya (GGV), is a Central University of India, located in Bilaspur Chhattisgarh State, established under Central Universities Act 2009, No. 25 of 2009. Formerly called Guru Ghasidas University (GGU), established by an Act of the State Legislative Assembly, was formally inaugurated on June 16, 1983. The insignia of the institution has a innumerable concentric petalled lotus in a red circle encircled by its name and motto in Sanskrit ‘ज्ञान पंथ कृपान कै धारा’ meaning ‘Cult of Knowledge is Through the Blessings’ and is ensconced in a blue gear wheel turning clockwise.
