The ICFAI University (ICFAIUT), Tripura has been established under the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India University, Tripura Act 8 of 2004 passed by the State Legislature of Tripura. The logo of the university has the acronym of its name written in capital serif font in blue colour, supported by a red banner on which ‘University’ is written. Below this ‘Tripura’ is written in blue and its status is written at the bottom. The colour red represents passion, power, strength, courage, determination, energy and celebration and the colour blue denotes trust, character and integrity.

No. 15 Squadron NO 15 SQUADRON The No. 15 Squadron of Indian Air Force was formed on August 2, 1951 at Ambala. In 1983, the ‘Flying Lances’ were the first MiG-21 Bis squadron in the Air Force to be modified for the Matra Magic R55, air to air missiles. The squadron was again number plated in 2009 and re-raised in 2012 on the Su-30 at Sirsa AFS. The No. 15 Squadron’s motto is ‘Nihantavya Shatava’ meaning ‘Annihilate the Enemy’. This Squadron is also called ‘Flying Lances’. Its insignia has a flying lancer in the centre with a ball of fire background. It currently operates the Mikoyan MiG-21 from Jodhpur.
